Wethersfield Dog Park

About Us
A group of dog loving citizens worked together with the Town of Wethersfield to create a dog park within Mill Woods Park.  The gates opened in October of 2006.  The Town of Wethersfield provided the land where the dog park is currently located with the understanding the dog owners who use the park will help with maintaining the park through physical and financial support.

The mission of the Wethersfield Dog Park is to contribute to the health and well-being of people and domestic dogs by providing and maintaining a safe legal, enclosed, off-leash recreation area where dogs can run off leash safely.

The dog park has a large area and a small or timid dog area.   The park amenities include benches, picnic tables, poop bag stations, trash receptacles, watering stations and message boards.

Wethersfield Dog Park            Donations

Donations are greatly appreciated and needed to keep the dog park running and the poop bag stations filled.  The Wethesfield Dog Park is a cooperative effort between the Town of Wethersfield
and the dog owners who use the park.  All the amenities, fencing and poop bags are paid for by the people who use the facility.  If you and your dog enjoy the park, please consider sending a donation to:
